As with any volunteer work, ANY THING YOU CAN DO IS A GREAT HELP TO US! Your sacrifice of time and talent may be the only tiny moment of joy that a would-be parent feels during this time of sadness and need.

Please contact us here with your intentions and introduce yourself. You'll be given a mailing address for one of our volunteers and the warmest email hug you've ever felt. YOU are special for giving your time and energy to others, especially tiny angels on their way home to heaven.

Can You Crochet or Knit? Make any of the preemie burial outfits on our pattern page in white baby yarns. Edging with pastel colors is acceptable or perhaps an addition of a cross or other suitable motif if you'd like.

Can You Sew? We also make burial gowns from a very simple pattern. Even a beginner seamstress will have no problem. One of our hospitals is in need of warm flannel blankets for the preemies. 18" squares are preferable, perhaps with tiny crocheted edges, no lace please.

Supplies we use are white and pastel cotton batiste or shirt weight fabrics, white baby yarn, flannel or fleece fabric in baby prints & solid pastels, crochet hooks, knitting needles, tiny white, pearlized or clear shank buttons, white or pastel satin ribbon, white batiste or other lightweight fabrics, bridal lace, trims and other laces & other items.
